They say everyone has at least one book in them and it has taken me a few years to complete mine. I am a mature lady living in Somerset. I was born and brought up here but left to live in Hertfordshire and then in South Africa. Only to come full circle back again years later. I have two grown-up sons and two grandchildren (all loved dearly), and my partner of more than twenty years who is my “better half.” I trained many years ago as a window dresser and also worked in the tax office before going into advertising in newspapers and on local radio. I’ve always been an avid reader and always felt that I could write, so I finally did it. Hope you enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed writing it.
